thinking as an animator

3dsMax-basics
Everything has a starting point,which may be far or close.As far as 3d stuff and animation is concern we had our starting point right from our birth,where we started animation with our own barbie dolls or flash or whatever of that kind.As a grown ups we watch lot of animation movies,wondering how they do that.Patience has its own bounds,we wait no more and push our first step in learning the art of animation.Normally the cost is to high to learn them in collages or in institutes,many prefer to learn on their own,trust me those people are now one of the most wanted animators in the world.
THE FIRST STEP
Its always a wise thing to know or learn about better and interactive softwares available for animation.Most generally we come across with many of the autodesk products,some times zBrush gives helping hand with modeling.
I always want to be game designer r programmer r whatever of that kind.that is the reason why i preferred 3dsmax,but after watching these movies made with 3ds max
* 2012
* Avatar
* Iron Man
* Mighty Joe Young
* Planet of the Apes
* Reign of Fire
* Sin City
* The Matrix Reloaded
* The Mummy
* X-Men
* X-Men 2
* X-Men 3
i started to recommend people 3dsmax both for animation and modelling.
SECOND STEP
Learning some software on our own,is not an easy thing to do. we need plenty of pdf and video tutorials and some experiments on our own.If you ask me,i will tell that 3ds max is itself a game since we will play with plenty of settings and parameters here.
THIRD STEP
At the beginning i followed plenty of tutorials and tried everything what i learned or read as it is in max.then i pushed my mind to create some scenes and animation on my own.But it wasn't perfect at all.practice makes things perfect.
practice it again and again you will be Mr.perfect one day.It is a five step process
(1)Modeling
(2)texturing,mapping
(3)rigging,lighting,camera
(4)animating
(5)finally rendering.
Thats it.
